Valcor Engineering TECHNICIAN, TEST in Springfield, New Jersey
Valcor Engineering is one of the largest and most recognized suppliers of fluid control products in the aircraft, aerospace and military fields. We specialize in the design and manufacture of Solenoid Valves and control components for liquids and gases in critical application in the aerospace, nuclear, light industrial and scientific industries.
The Test Technician duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Summary:
Complete responsibility for set-up and production testing of critical aerospace clutches, brakes and solenoids using ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure). Interfaces regularly with Engineering for development and prototype testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete knowledge and understanding of all electronics test equipment (power supply, mult-meter , oscilloscope, etc.
Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics.
Must be able to set-up electronic test equipment to perform testing of aerospace components.
Education and Qualifications
1-3+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be computer literate and have experience using Word and Excel.
Hands-on experience and the use of small power tools is a must.
Must have experience to read and understand technical drawings, data sheets and written work instructions.
