Your Role:
As the Vice President, Team Leader for Ag & Rural Lending, you'll provide coaching, direction, and support to a team of loan officers working across multiple office locations. Your leadership will be key to helping the team meet their goals, grow portfolios, and ensure exceptional credit quality. In this position, you'll also play a crucial role in delivering products and services that meet the needs of our member owners and prospective customers, all while driving growth, profitability, and increased market share.
What You Need:
A bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience as a loan officer or in a closely related field
3+ years of supervisory experience
Strong leadership skills and a passion for team development
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

60%Leadership and Staff Development
Provides input on staff selection, promotion decisions and chattel/collateral authority level updates
Determines division of responsibilities and provides work guidance and direction
Recommends and implements performance standards
Determines, develops and presents training curriculums for staff
Monitors team loan portfolios for credit quality, credit administration, proper risk identification, and delinquencies
Completes performance reviews on direct reports.
Assist staff in developing and implementing individual development plans
Monitor development and identify training opportunities to fulfill IDP
Identify employees for special projects, leadership development and succession planning and develop training and tools to promote employee
20%Marketing and Sales Development
Develops sales, marketing, and customer education programs to remain competitive in the marketplace and increase market share
Work with Sales & Marketing to identify and manage applicable Sales Campaigns to drive growth and profitability
20%Customer Service
Collaborates with credit department and loan officers to determine acceptable resolutions to customer requests
Coordinates with customer service team leaders to facilitate teamwork between loan officers and customer support teams to ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and accurate manner when handling loan sales, customer expectations, servicing, and processing

Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business or a related field
5 years of experience as a loan officer or in a closely related field
3 years supervisory experience or equivalent experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
