PHELPS COUNTY BANK Retail Supervisor in Springfield, Missouri

As a Retail Supervisor, you will be expected to oversee retail operations including scheduling, supervising and providing work direction to staff to assure that customers are provided with accurate information and courteous, efficient service in regard to customer/Bank transactions. Demonstrate people leadership and coaching to develop the enthusiasm needed in a retail sales culture.
OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
- Manage and supervise daily retail operations, including cash handling, customer service, and sales.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of daily transactions, inventory, and cash balances.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- Train, coach, and motivate staff to achieve retail goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures, including security and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of policies, manuals and supporting documentation to accomplish tasks/duties and ensure security.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and develop action plans to improve staff performance.
- Provide timely and accurate performance feedback to staff to support their development and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Able to perform all responsibilities and tasks of a Retail Lead.
- 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus additional bank-related training; four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Reading and interpreting various documents and policies, writing reports, and communicating effectively and appropriately with colleagues and customers.
- Strong fundamental mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting practical problems.
- Ability to learn new tools and equipment at a fast pace.
