Position Title Residence Life - Summer Student Facilities Assistant - Office Assistant
Student Status Work Study Optional –You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position.

Department Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services
Hiring Range $12.30/hour
Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm
How many hours per week are required? 20-40/week
Description of Primary Duties
Office Assistant
Answer office phones, transfer calls, and take messages
Check in and out keys to staff and vendors
Escort vendors through residence halls for work orders
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Good Communication, public relations, and customer service skills
Must be detail-oriented, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
Must be able to read, write, and understand English sufficiently enough to understand verbal and written instruction
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders/stairs
Ability to work as a team
Prioritize time and tasks to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
