Residential Assistant Manager The Residential Assistant Program Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day youth experience of a residential program under the supervision of the Residential Program Manager. They are responsible for ensuring that staff is directly engaging the youth through creative daily activities and consistent structure/routine. They serve as a therapeutic agent to young children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs. They are also a key part of the program leadership and responsible for program operations in the program manager?s absence, including the maintenance of a trauma informed environment and other clinical or programmatic aspects of the program. And other duties as required. Full time Western MA The Residential Programs consist of two youth sites located in Springfield, MA. The Cottage Residential program is an inclusive environment designed to support male clients (ages 6-13), regardless of how they identify, who have experienced trauma, with moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges. The SHARP Residential Program supports youth who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community. This specialty residential program supports youth who have experienced trauma, with moderate to severe mental health challenges and may be struggling with their personal identity. Now Hiring Monday through Friday shifts, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Qualifications Associate\'s degree required; Bachelors preferred with 2 to 3 years of professional supervisory experience in the childcare field. Experience working in residential programs required. Requires one overnight per month, one weekend per month, one week per month On Call. Must be able to receive MAP (medical administration) certification within the first 6 months of employment. Valid driver\'s license. Trauma-Informed residential care experience and Building Communities of Care (BCC) model experience preferred. Ability to participate with multi-disciplinary treatment team in implementing and carrying out individual treatment plans. Requires excellent written and verbal skills. Requires the ability to interpret and implement regulatory requirements. Ability to travel and/or transport safely to various locations is necessary.
