Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Fertility and IVF

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading fertility and in vitro fertilization program. The role involves daily tasks such as patient intake, comprehensive patient education, utilizing an EMR system for documentation, telephone triage, patient callbacks, securing prior authorizations, ordering diagnostic testing, participating in research, and coordinating treatment plans and follow-ups. This position requires working Monday to Friday, with early starts at 7AM until 5PM, every other weekend, and at least one major holiday per year.

Hard Skills

• Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut and State of Massachusetts

• 1-2 years of clinical experience as a licensed RN, preferably in OR/PACU/Womens Health

• Experience with EMR systems

• Experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or IVF (preferred)

• BSN (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Ability to multitask and focus on details

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Compassion and ability to handle upset patients

• Initiative and respect in a team-oriented environment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Schedule- Monday-Friday 730AM-430 OR 8AM-5PM and one weekend every 6 weeks!

Work Environment

The role involves floating between offices in Springfield (3 days a week) and Hartford (2 days a week). The schedule is from 8am to 4:30pm. The position may involve frequent physical demands such as walking and standing, and exposure to infectious diseases, waste, bodily fluids, and highly pressurized, emotional situations.
