About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with product development background to join our efforts providing world-class Program and Project Management for Oracle’s products and services. As a member of the Database Cloud Services Technical Program Management team, you will partner with product and engineering teams to build innovative cloud-native products. This may include defining and managing a complex, cross-functional project that brings together a diverse group of departments to agree upon and implement an important organizational goal.
Manage the development and implementation of a product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
Lead multiple technology programs/ projects and product features.
Work across multiple virtual teams with differing timelines and objectives.
Define milestones, success criteria, manage dependencies and deliver iteratively.
Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues and risks to collaborators.
Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
Manage collaborator expectations across the organization.
Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Identify and drive process improvements across multiple teams.
Define and pursue automation and integration opportunities.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
Presenting to large internal executives and leadership team members.
Ability to work independently, defining and managing one’s own work while still providing transparency and accountability to management and other interested parties

Responsibilities Overview
The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of complex technical projects within our organization. This entails supervising and supporting the development and implementation process of the company’s products, involving departmental or cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering new or existing products. Additionally, this role may involve managing individual or group departmental activities and assignments to support these projects and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of experience delivering technical products and projects in a highly technical environment.
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Technical program management experience over multiple release cycles or lifecycles for enterprise products or services.
Comfortable presenting to large internal groups and leadership team members.
Ability to turn broad statements of direction into actionable, achievable outcomes.
Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of collaborators to prioritize work, remove barriers, and keep organizational focus.
Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence and analytical skills.
Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through internal and external organizations and individuals.
Ability to work independently, defining and managing one’s own work while still providing transparency and accountability to management and other interested parties
Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
