OCI Safety blends the concepts of Operations, Availability and Security into a single approach - "Safety". We require a Technical Program Manager to help load that effort.

Responsibilities

At Oracle, Safety is our unified approach to availability, operations and security - ensuring that engineers build and maintain services with a single, cohesive framework of guardrails.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive adoption of safety methodologies across our engineering teams. This role is critical in influencing cultural change, improving safety processes, and ensuring that our engineering teams prioritize security, reliability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead execution of Cloud Safety initiatives, including:

• A Safety Drills program to proactively test and refine safety practices.

• Development of training materials to onboard and educate engineers and leaders on safety principles.

• A safety issue reporting system to capture and analyze risks across the organization.

• Partner closely with service owners, engineering teams and leadership to refine safety programs based on their feedback.

• Work within the Cloud Safety PMO to ensure alignment with company-wide safety objectives.

• Influence leadership by providing insights, advocating for best practices and driving cultural change towards a safety first mindset.

• Develop and refine measurement strategies for safety adoption, combining qualitative assessments with traditional KPIs to track program effectiveness.

• Ensure that safety principles are embedded into engineering processes without creating unnecessary friction.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
