Description:

• Candidates will learn to operate CNC and manual mills and lathes to manufacture metal parts

• Use measuring tools including gages, tap measure, and calipers

• Position and fasten workpieces

• Machine parts to specifications

• Inspect own work to ensure product accuracy

• Load and unload machine

• Perform operation of machine and make minor adjustments as needed

• Read and interpret work orders
