This position serves as an Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Compliance Technician performingspecialized professional and advisory functions on behalf of the mandated State of Illinois enterprise ESI fulfillment system for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, investigatory requests, subpoenas, and other related requests. In this role you will provide support and system analysis, ESI request fulfillment; create and maintain documentation of DoIT ESI departmental processes, training and metrics. In addition, you will assist with the Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator System email journaling and archiving.
Essential Functions
? Under general direction, serves as an Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Compliance Technician performing difficult and specialized professional work assignments for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT).
Assists with administrative support of the enterprise email vaulting system.
Collaborates with staff to create and maintain DoIT ESI departmental processes, training, and metrics documentation.
Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above
