SUMMARY:
* Candidate must reside in the Eastern New Jersey area. No relocation assistance is provided.
This position is directly responsible for managing the sales positioning and value-added product development of Fresh Meats Pork processor products. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating sales efforts within Tyson\'s national and International Service Centers
- Maximizing overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group
- Daily interaction with internal teams: Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims, Credit, etc.
- Managing relationships with an established external customer base
- Focusing on maximized sales, optimal inventory management, value-added product development, and new customer development
- Delivering exemplary customer service
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor\'s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of combined education and experience.
Experience: Experience in meat or commodity sales and/or protein supply chain management is preferred
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
Special Skills: Creative problem-solving, excellent customer interaction, goal-oriented, positive and productive team player, results-driven
