Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an equipment engineer to join the team of one of their largest utility clients located in Spring Valley, NY. This person will be joining a team of twelve that is focusing on numerous substation projects over the next five years. This person will be responsible for handling equipment inspection and making sure that all testing's are completed. The main responsibility for this person will be to conduct field inspections ensuring that all of the equipment is functioning properly and that all testing's on the equipment are completed. Their job is to approve all testing's and provide technical guidance on to substation engineers on how to resolve issues. They will be responsible for installation, commissioning and maintenance of substation equipment.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 1-5 years of experience working as an equipment engineer

• Experience working with substations equipment, high voltage, power breakers etc

• Extensive experience writing job specifications and schematic drawings

-Strong work ethic, great communication and ability to lead a team null
