Job Description
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will be required to assemble electrical components and control devices for heavy subassembly units based on electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Responsibilities include wiring circuits, outlets, and switches, as well as calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances. You should be proficient in operating basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders from day one. The role involves both independent work and collaboration with other assemblers. Additionally, you will operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, mobile floor cranes, etc.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical components and control devices based on engineering schematics and specifications.
Wire circuits, outlets, and switches.
Calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances.
Operate basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders.
Work independently or with a group of other assemblers.
Operate material handling devices and lifts, including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of electrical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.
Proficiency in operating measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
3-5 years of experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in bending conduit and cable tray.
Knowledge of blueprint and schematic interpretation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
