Robert Half Business Systems Analyst in Spring, Texas

Description

We are looking for a tenacious problem solver to join our team as a Business Systems Analyst. This individual will excel in breaking down technical problems into understandable units for both business stakeholders and developers. Additionally, the role involves administering critical systems, such as ERP and document management systems. Acting as a servant-leader in a fast-paced, agile environment, the successful candidate will facilitate collaboration sessions, remove impediments, and help the team document its work effectively. As part of a cross-functional team, some development tasks (Power BI) will also be required.

This position is a hybrid onsite position in Spring, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business partners across various departments to write user stories and gather requirements.

  • Technical Documentation: Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into technical documentation, including mapping documents, flowcharts, test plans, and RTMs for developers.

  • System Administration: Manage and administer ERP, document management systems, and other third-party applications, liaising with vendor consultants as necessary.

  • Scrum Master Duties: Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, product demos, retrospectives) and maintain board discipline to ensure all work is documented on the team task board.

  • Collaboration: Organize and lead collaboration sessions to remove impediments and bridge communication gaps.

  • User-Acceptance Testing: Support business partners in user-acceptance testing (UAT) by stabilizing environments, setting up tests, executing tests, and reviewing results.

  • Power BI Development: Manage Power BI workspaces and contribute to the development of Power BI reports and datasets as needed.

    Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Microsoft Excel: 5+ years of experience.

  • Microsoft Word: 5+ years of experience.

  • Microsoft SQL (T-SQL): 2+ years of experience.

  • Power BI: 2+ years of experience.

  • Microsoft Visio: 2+ years of experience.

  • Certifications: Scrum Master (preferred), CBAP (preferred).
