Role

We are looking for a Channel Renew Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive a transformational change in the reseller channel.

The candidate, who will need to possess both strong sales - and business management skills, will be part of a global organization and have responsibility over a specific country and set of partners.

A solid understanding of the IT channel business and the channel landscape will be a prerequisite, where prior experience in selling services and contractual offers will be a clear asset!

The BDM will report to the Renew Solutions Channel Business Lead and will work closely together with the different global and local country channel sales teams.

The candidate will be the driving force in (accelerating) the introduction of the HP Renew solutions in her/his assigned country and establishing the right business governance within the partner landscape.

As evangelist of HP Renew in the channel, her/his prime responsibility will be the enablement of the resellers, making sure that both existing (farm) and new resellers (hunt) have the right knowledge and tools to position and sell HP Renew Solutions.

This role is ideally suited for someone who want to be part of one of the most exciting and strategically important new HP business area's and wants to become a key driver in its

growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner selection, segmentation, adoption and certification for the Renew business.

  • Build strategic relationship with Renew stakeholders in assigned set of channel partners.

  • Actively hunt new potential Renew partners in the assigned country.

  • Partner enablement: value proposition, collaterals, trainings.

  • Deploy (global) Renew channel programs.

  • Develop a strategic plan on Renew, as part of overall joint business plans of the top partners.

  • Be the SPOC for Renew in your assigned country.

  • Educate internal stakeholders (PBM's, local channel management, ... ) on channel tools, programs and growth initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze and report the business drivers.

  • Linkage to technical support resources.

  • Limited to no involvement in end-user sales.

Your profile ( key required experience)

  • Highly motivated 'builder'.

  • Disciplined sales execution with ability to structure your work.

  • Team player

  • Good communication skills and fluent in French and English.(additional languages are a plus).

  • Rise to the challenge of a demanding, target driven sales environment.

  • Experience of working in a channel environment, ideally ICT sector.

  • Experience in (channel) services sales and/or contractual selling motion.

  • Experience in reseller/customer management.

  • A strong analytical and action-oriented mindset.

The base pay range for this role is $140,000 to $203,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
