Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Spring Lake, North Carolina. This role is primarily involved in the finance industry and will require you to be on-site in a secure workplace environment. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, primarily revolving around payroll and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Use accounting software systems to manage and organize financial data.

• Handle accounts payable tasks, ensuring all payments are processed in a timely manner.

• Transition to new software systems as needed, adapting quickly to new technology.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and financial processes.

• Utilize various accounting functions to manage and track expenses.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Utilize knowledge of government payroll processes to adhere to all legal and regulatory standards.

• Ensure all check processing is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Handle benefit functions, managing and organizing employee benefits information. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian payroll system

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system

• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System

• Ability to use About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions

• Experience in Check Processing
