We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in our Non-Profit organization located in Spring House, PA. The role involves participating in various accounting and financial functions of the organization. You will be tasked with tasks such as handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various accounting and financial functions

• Work on tasks needed to facilitate month-end reporting and analysis

• Manage all aspects of Developers Escrow Accounts

• Reconciliation of Sewer Accounts Receivable

• Respond to financial inquiries from vendors, residents, Township Supervisors, and staff

• Work as a team with other personnel to assure accurate and timely completion of financial work

• Prepare reports by assembling and analyzing information from various sources

• Independently address and resolve moderately complex issues related to assigned duties

• Routine filing and data entry within the Finance Department

• Handle Accounts Payable, Month End Close and Reconciliations.

Requirements • Must possess experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required

• Experience with General Ledger management is essential

• Should have the ability to create and manage Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is necessary

• Should have hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Candidate must have a strong understanding of non-profit industry accounting standards and practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Should have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
