As a member of the In Vivo Antibody Discovery Group, this role will contribute to multiple aspects of antibody discovery in a globally-integrated environment. In-depth knowledge of B-cell sorting and immune repertoire sequencing/analysis are critical.

Familiarity with in vivo approaches to therapeutic antibody discovery including immunization and antibody screening will also be important. This is a critical function in a multifaceted Biologics Discovery organization committed to bringing the next generation of biotherapeutic molecules to patients.

We are looking for a motivated candidate with scientific and technical expertise who can collaborate across discovery areas to bring value to our portfolio of innovative drug concepts. Proficiency to lead within a highly coordinated, fast-paced environment will be a significant attribute. An additional knowledge base in the areas of oncology, immunology, or cardiovascular disease would be a plus. If this sounds like you, come join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific leadership in antibody repertoire isolation and analysis from immunized animals

  • Establish a total repertoire approach to therapeutic antibody discovery to support the biologics portfolio

  • Lead a team of scientists in the continued development of industry-leading capabilities

  • Monitor external innovation in the field, and drive the development of novel processes for biologics discovery

Qualifications

Education:

  • PhD with 8 years in the Biologics or Immunology field is required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Proven experience with B-cell isolation methods and antibody repertoire analysis is required

  • Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a consistent record of innovation is required

  • Demonstrated leadership success in a heavily matrixed environment is required
