Job Title: EHS Program ManagerJob Description
The EHS Program Manager will be responsible for the daily administration and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements that promote a safe and healthful working environment. The individual may perform assignments of moderate complexity following the direction of an assigned supervisor.
Responsibilities
Manage recordkeeping systems
Conduct training in all OSH topics
Manage Hazardous Waste in accordance with RCRA regulations
Conduct walk-through inspections and internal/external audits
Recognize hazards
Participate in accident investigations and/or emergency response
Address employee OSH concerns
Implement OSH measures, programs, and procedures
Maintain metrics and KPI’s
Prepare technical reports
Perform sampling and monitoring
Essential Skills
BS Degree in OSH or Environment Engineering
Experience in a manufacturing, ideally FDA regulated
Leadership capabilities
Internal and external audit experience
Thorough knowledge of life safety and applicable regulatory compliance
Experience with machine guarding and lockout/tagout electrical safety
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Strong computer skills
Strong leadership abilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EHS management
Safety training
OSHA top 10 programs
Experience in a lean environment
Ergonomics and workers' compensation experience
4-6+ years of relevant work experience in OSH
Work Environment
Large manufacturing and distribution facility. This is a very hands-on role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
