Morrison-Maierle Structural Engineer in Spokane, Washington
Morrison-Maierle has exciting opportunities for Structural Engineers to join our Buildings Market Group in Spokane, Washington.
Opportunity: Morrison-Maierle is recruiting Structural Engineers who want to expand their careers and help build a growth-driven, employee-owned engineering firm. This is a full-time position, but for the right individual, a 30-hour part-time position would be considered.
Project Types: Airports, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Municipal, Healthcare, Government, Hospitality, and Mining.
Duties/Tasks:
Overseeing structural design and analysis for buildings, water/wastewater facilities, industrial/mining equipment supports, and many other interesting and challenging structures
Load calculations
Site inspections and punch lists
Coordination of REVIT model/ceilings and backgrounds with architect
Responses to Request For Information from Contractors
Assembly and editing of construction specifications
Drafting of as-built drawings for record
Design and construction meetings with owners, architects, and contractors
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil-Structural Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years experience, preferably in the Architectural Engineering industry. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
Experience with REVIT/BIM, AutoCAD, and LEED certification is a plus.
Salary: $75,000 - $110,000
