Join our dynamic team at CPM Development as a SOX Compliance Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing our financial compliance and driving financial excellence. What You Will Do... As the SOX Compliance Controller, you will:
- Manage and coordinate accounting, finance, and financial compliance functions by overseeing the processes and controls for 10 operating companies across WA, OR, ID, and CA.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and conduct internal trainings.
- Manage various reports and participate in month- and year-end close.

Location: This role can be either in office or hybrid, at one of our locations (Salem ,OR; Pacific, WA; Yakima, WA; Wenatchee, WA; Tri-Cities, WA; or Spokane, WA), or remote. Remote candidates must be based out of WA or OR. (What You Can Do (Qualifications) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
- 6+ years related experience including a strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally, and to collaborate with teams as both a leader and a participant.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage projects and prioritize multiple requirements and deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including building rapport, active listening, presenting, and giving/receiving feedback.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and trust, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, being detail and action-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a drive for results.
- Self-motivated and able to operate under general guidelines without micromanagement.

- Current authorization to work in the United States and the ability to pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
- CPA, CFE, or CMA.
- SQL Query Experience.
Work Requirements:
Must be able to travel to site locations up to 25% of the time.
