Aerotek is hiring for a Precaster for a Concrete Manufacturing

Location : Spokane, WA (or surrounding area)

Pay : $18.00–$24.00/hr DOE

Job Description :

As a Precaster, you’ll play a key role in assembling metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, beams, and more. Your tasks will include cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, and finishing concrete for precast and pre-stressed concrete products. It’s a physically demanding role that involves working in a hot, sweaty, and dirty environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Climb in and out of 5-6ft tall, narrow forms

• Assist in the setup and stripping of concrete forms

• Fill and level concrete castings

• Help with housekeeping and maintaining a clean shop environment

• Follow the production schedule and adhere to timeframes

Essential Skills :

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and work in various physical positions

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch

• Experience with concrete finishing tools and some woodworking skills

• Comfortable using heavy equipment like overhead cranes

Work Environment :

• Indoor precast concrete manufacturing facility

• A variety of concrete products are made (burial vaults, septic tanks, retaining walls, etc.)

• Expect a large, open shop with concrete dust and splatter

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
