Description
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our team based in Spokane, Washington. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be tasked with ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages, compiling and reconciling payroll data, and handling all payroll-related inquiries. This role also includes the maintenance of statutory and voluntary deductions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws affecting pay, benefits, and taxes.
This is a contract or contract opportunity, on-site, in Spokane. This is an immediate opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of all salaries and wages
• Compile and reconcile payroll data from various departments
• Maintain and process statutory and voluntary deductions, allowances, and premiums
• Respond to external and internal payroll-related inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Remit all payroll deductions and benefits to third parties
• Initiate, recommend, and implement improvements in the preparation of payroll data
• Prepare and process journal entries, including the analysis of transactions and reconciliation of payroll liability and payroll bank accounts
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws affecting pay, benefits, and taxes for all business units
• Prepare all year-end slips such as W2’s
• Facilitate the direct deposit bank file to the bank and prepare electronic funds transfers as required.
Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian software
• Ability to use Crystal Reports
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Experience with Accounting Functions
• Strong skills in Auditing
• Experience in Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in SAP HR Payroll
• Knowledge of SAP software
