Providence St. Joseph Health Nurse Educator - Quality in Spokane, Washington

Description Under direction of the PMG Quality Manager, the RN Educator serves as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant, and researcher across a variety of settings. Uses audiovisual, online, and simulation technology to support activities. Collaborates with core leaders, the Providence Nursing Institute, professional organizations, and various departments to ensure the provision of clinical education (including in-service, regulatory and mandatory education), orientation and onboarding, caregiver engagement, and workforce development programs. Promotes, adopts, and embraces a culture of inter-professional collaboration, professional practice, and attainment of excellence in clinical outcomes. Supports implementation of departmental, PMG, and Providence St. Joseph Health initiatives by serving on select committees and work groups, and assists with implementation of region- and system-wide initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from a nationally accredited program and Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 2 years of hire: Professional Development Practitioner or Education Specialist certification 5 years Nursing experience Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited program.
