Maintenance Technician

Job Type & Location:

• Contract to Hire position based in NA, Washington.

• Pay: $35.99 per hour.

Job Description: Aerotek is seeking a proficient Maintenance Technician to handle both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks in an industrial manufacturing setting focused on metal and aluminum products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service machine tools, hand tools, power tools, and machine attachments.

• Inspect, service, and clean compressors, hydraulic systems, plumbing fixtures, motors, relays, contacts, and electrical/electronic panels and controls.

• Service pneumatic hand tools, power tools, and machine attachments; replace parts and control modules as needed.

• Perform basic facility maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, furniture assembly, and occasional equipment relocation.

• Disassemble, repair, or replace worn or defective parts using hand, power, and machine tools.

• Conduct welding and fabrication of various fixtures and guarding.

• Maintain facility equipment including turret presses, stamping presses, press brakes, and other metal fabricating machinery.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in industrial maintenance.

• General facility/building maintenance experience.

• Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

• Proficiency in math and understanding of engineering drawings and principles.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with PLCs and robotics is advantageous.

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience or specialized training in a related field.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Work Environment:

• Tasks may involve working on ladders, scissor lifts, and platforms.

• The facility offers turn-key mechanical and electromechanical assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.99/hr.
