Humanix Maintenance Mechanic in Spokane, Washington

A leading production facility located in Spokane WA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This role performs repairs and preventative maintenance on various plant equipment. If you have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance or hold an instrumentation certificate, we encourage you to apply!

 

Compensation for the Maintenance Mechanic

 

  • $22.42 -- $33.14 per hour DOE
  • Pension is an additional $4.68 per hour
  • 1st Class Boilers license = full pay plus an additional $1.00 per hour
  • CIRO and CARO Certifications additional pay per hour
  • Shift Differential pay $0.50 per hour
  • Schedule is four 10 hour days. To be considered you must be available ALL DAYS, ALL SHIFTS.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Mechanic

 

  • Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Follow technical diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Control downtime by advising production workers on preventive maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate process instrumentation.
  • Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics.
  • Perform general electrical troubleshooting of 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V systems.
  • Understand the theory behind process flow and apply it in day-to-day operations.

     

Requirements for the Maintenance Mechanic

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance or an instrumentation certificate.
  • Must be available ALL DAYS, ALL SHIFTS.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of mechanical machinery, steam systems, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic operations.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work well within a team.
  • Sanitary welding experience (preferred).
  • Boiler Operator's license (preferred).
