Required Skills
Refrigeration Theory: A deep understanding of refrigeration cycles, components, and their interactions.
Electrical Systems: Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical issues within refrigeration systems.
Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical components.
Brazing and Welding: Skill in brazing copper tubing and welding steel components for system installation and repair.
Control Systems: Understanding of microprocessor-based control systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics: Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, especially as they relate to refrigeration equipment.
Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays
Must possess current driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record
Pay Scale:
Starting at $44.00 to $55.00 an hour depending of experience.
