Details: Job Title: General Laborer Location: Spokane, WA Zip Code: 99202 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract - 6 months Pay Rate: Starting at $18.83/hour (plus shift differential) Schedule: 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM/ 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Keywords: #generallaborer #WAjobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure products are Food Safe and produced according to Quality Standards. * Report any Food Safety issues to the immediate supervisor. * Inspect machinery before use and report any issues with machinery prior to or while running to the immediate supervisor. * Ensure that all products are labeled correctly, with Lot codes on each product and ingredient. * Must be able to assemble and disassemble machinery. * Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when cleaning or scraping machinery. * Follow the supervisor's instructions on what products they are running and the containers needed for that particular run. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or higher * Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. * Basic mechanical aptitude to assemble/disassemble machinery and perform basic troubleshooting. * Understanding of food safety standards and procedures. * Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures is preferred. * Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
