Description
Robert Half is working with a client in the animal services industry to fill an immediate contract opportunity for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This short-term role requires an experienced professional to support the organization’s daily financial operations, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparing financial statements. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong QuickBooks skills, this position may be an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage vendor invoices, bill payments, and employee expense reimbursements.
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Generate and present monthly financial statements for internal and external review.
Meet financial deadlines, adhering to compliance standards and organizational timelines.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for three organizational accounts.
Maintain an accurate general ledger and ensure financial records are always up to date.
Monitor cash flow, providing insights and assisting with budgeting as needed.
Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks while ensuring accuracy and compliance wit
Requirements

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop version preferred).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and leadership.
