Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an A&P Mechanic, where you will be responsible for performing maintenance on firefighting aircraft for state and federal governments and agencies, including deployments in Canada. You will work on next-generation Canadair CL-415 amphibious airtankers and Avro RJ 85 airtankers. Your role includes working in the hangar during the offseason (October - May) and in the field for 2-3 week deployments during the summer.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SPOKANE, Washington.

Work Environment

During the offseason, your work will involve hangar maintenance, repairing aircraft from the previous fire season, and installing any upgrades and mods, from 7 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday. In the season (March 31 - October 31), you will travel with aircraft for 3 weeks and have a home base MRO in Spokane for 1 week. Expect to work 50-100 hours/week during deployments with per-diem or all meals and lodging provided. Rotations in the field are 2 weeks out, 2 weeks home, with 3-5% yearly bonus and immediate insurance/benefits upon direct hire.
