Humanix Welders - Temporary in Spokane Valley, Washington
A local Spokane Valley manufacturing company has an uptick in business and is looking to add temporary experienced Welders to their team.
Compensation for the Welder
- $26 -- $28 Per Hour DOE
- Day shift: Monday -- Friday, 6 am -- 2:30 pm
This is a temporary position expected to last 4 -- 5 weeks.
Responsibilities for the Welder
- Perform structural welding with hardwire-flux core wire size wire is .045 up to .062
Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Welder
- At least 3 -- 5 years of recent experience as a welder and structural welder
- WABO welding certification preferred; company can certify qualified candidates if not certified
- Back gouge experience required
- Must pass weld test
- Must understand and follow instructions
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Experience in overhead crane and forklift operations
- Strong attention to productivity, QUALITY, and SAFETY
- Must have welding gear, hood, and leather shoes/boots
Ability to lift 60 lbs., which is the weight of a spool of wire, most of the lifting is done with cranes
