Project Coordinator

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Coordinator in Spokane Valley for this unique direct hire but temporary role lasting 6 to 9 months to support the implementation of Epicor ERP software across various departments. This role involves ensuring the successful deployment and functionality of key Epicor modules, such as Inventory/Finance, BOM/Scheduling, Work Orders/Planning, Purchase Orders, and Project Management. The Project Manager will oversee the data migration from the current ERP system to Epicor, ensuring smooth integration and providing support to teams for a seamless transition.

Compensation for the Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator

- - Manage the timeline, tasks, and resources necessary for Epicor ERP implementation. - Serve as the main point of contact for the implementation across departments. - Collaborate with department stakeholders to align on goals, requirements, and milestones. - Monitor project progress, reporting status to leadership and highlighting risks or issues. - Coordinate the setup and configuration of key Epicor modules. - Work with department leads to tailor modules to their specific needs and workflows. - Ensure successful testing, training, and go-live of each module. - Troubleshoot issues and ensure full functionality of modules. - Lead data migration efforts from the current ERP system to Epicor. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the migration process. - Coordinate with IT and departmental teams to identify key data points and determine migration strategy. - Perform quality checks and validation of migrated data to ensure it aligns with business requirements. - Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for end-users. - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance during the implementation phase. - Generate regular reports on project status, challenges, and milestones. - Keep leadership informed on progress, risks, and issues. - Perform additional tasks as requested to support the project and organization.

Requirements of the Project Coordinator

- - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in ERP software implementations or IT systems. - Familiarity with Epicor ERP modules is highly desirable. - Experience in data migration, including working with large datasets and ensuring accuracy and integrity. - Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams. - Problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. - A background in ERP software implementation or IT project management is a plus.
