We are offering an awesome PERT-TIME opportunity in Spokane Valley, Washington, to a diligent individual with a knack for numbers and excellent attention to detail. The role of an Accounting Clerk in our organization involves handling customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and resolving credit inquiries as part of our team. This PART-TIME IN -OFFICE role can be very flexible with schedule- once its set, consistency is a must. This can be 20-24 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and ensure their efficient completion

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customer credit accounts

• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and other tasks

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Process invoices and manage billing operations

• Regularly review credit accounts and update records as needed

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer credit inquiries

• Continually develop skills in account reconciliation, invoice processing, and other relevant areas.

SALARY RANGE: $26 - $30 an hour DOE

BENEFITS OFFERED:

No health benefits offered at the part time status, as well as no 401k options

• There are 11 paid and observed federal holidays and PTO accrual, 1 week the 1st year.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to handle billing responsibilities

• Strong data entry skills

• Experience in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
