Providence St. Joseph Health LPN/LVN - Hospice in Spokane Valley, Washington
Description The LPN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families by providing nursing care according to the Plan of Care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The LPN Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, assuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying patients. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Certificate of Nursing and Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Washington Licensed Practical Nurse Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. Preferred qualifications: 1 year of Nursing experience. Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience.
