Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure for the organization. This includes management of end-user services, hardware and software asset management, and IT systems and support tools. The role is also accountable for delivering short and long-term technical solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security for enterprise platforms and applications hosted within the factory and public cloud. Additionally, the Infrastructure Manager establishes and enforces IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency, security, and compliance across the team.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead a team of IT professionals, provide guidance, and manage their performance.

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service while effectively resolving technical issues for end-users.

  • Oversee all IT infrastructure including hardware, software, and network devices.

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure to support company objectives.

  • Design, implement, and validate disaster recovery plans and ensure company data is being backed up.

  • Ensure data is handled, transferred, and processed in a secure manner and in accordance with legal and company guidelines.

  • Manage the IT infrastructure OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for IT services.

  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of company data.

  • Manage continuous improvement and optimization of IT systems and services.

  • Stay current with the latest technologies and issues in IT management, including regulatory changes, advancements in technology, and trends in customer requirements.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications

Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

  • Basic/Required: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business

  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in IT or related technical discipline or MBA

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT leadership leading a team of 10+ people in addition to 10+ years of hands-on IT experience

  • Position requires management expertise in LAN/WAN equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Active Directory, Proxy) infrastructure, VPN technology, workstations (Linux *, Windows Server *), desktop PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices (tablets, iPhones and Android phones)

  • Ability to create strong working relationships with business partners and provide superior support at all levels within the organization.

  • Good communications (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information; effectively train and advise users on information technology issues.

  • Approachable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment where priorities are constantly changing.

  • Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

  • Able to prioritize activities while supporting multiple projects.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting various hardware and software products including (but not limited to): desktops, laptops, printers, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, wired/wireless LAN, VPN, antivirus, and mobile devices.

  • Resilient, self-motived and able to work well under pressure.
