WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Hydraulic Crane Technician is a key position at our QMC Cranes facility. You’re primarily working in an automotive shop and responsible for the layout and execution of the electrical wiring, tear-down and assembly for the hydraulic cranes on class-eight heavy duty trucks.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll primarily work with other technicians and the welding team.
A highlight of your day to day will include:
· Planning and execution of complete electrical system including junction boxes, and vehicle interface wiring.
· Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and associated hydraulic & electrical schematics.
· Planning and execution of installation of hydraulic hoses, fittings, valves, and other hydraulic components.
· Troubleshooting and repairing equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical.
