Things You’ll Do
Manage all division locations, personnel, recruiting, hiring, promotions, and corrective actions.
Train employees on safety-sensitive functions, monitor certifications, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and union requirements.
Review equipment inventory, coordinate repairs and maintenance, assess condition, and recommend retirements or replacements.
Approve purchase orders, invoices, capital expenditures, and strategic plans. Assist with setting equipment rates and maintenance policies.
Maintain regular communication with managers, caretakers, and staff to align goals and schedules.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Knowledge of department of transportation (DOT) compliance
Knowledge of various plants, vehicles, and equipment
Relationship-building and strategic thinking skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
