Eaton’s eMobility Division is currently seeking a Business Development Pursuit Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Southfield, MI location. Relocation or Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Position Overview:

The primary function of this job is to facilitate various sales process and pursuit management systems for timely, accurate and effective reporting. The Pursuit Analyst manages and improves processes pertaining to pursuit management and administration of timely customer response while maintaining integrity of process documentation and approvals. The position is also responsible for generating forecasts and data analytics for the eMobility global pursuit function and provides administrative and analytical support to pursuit and sales teams.

In this function you will:

• Manage full reporting of eMobility Global pursuit performance per analytics and dashboard creation within Eaton CRM software (in the future this will be Salesforce) and executive presentation.

• Work directly with Global pursuit and sales team for CRM system integrity and advanced feature set (activity management).

• Manage eMobility Office 365 SharePoint and team’s sites for data share, tools, templates, and sales process management. Establish and customize digital templates within Office 365 system.

• Understand and manage data share within customer B2B systems. Assist in communication and coordination of customer commercial requirements (bid approval process, certifications).

• Assist the sales group in the development of short and long-term market and forecast for Profit and Strategic Plans.

• Collaborate globally (as needed) within Eaton to ensure reporting alignment across regions.

• Maintain quote tracking and pursuit management systems for respective customers.

• Champion continuous improvement for eMobility CRM and quoting processes

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Product Business Analysis or Sales Service Support within a Manufacturing environment.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Southfield, Michigan. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle sales or business development.

• Experience generating sales/marketing forecasts and data analytics for technical/engineering related product.

• Knowledge of Electric Vehicle industry and/or low voltage/high voltage systems a plus.

• Experience taking products from concept to production.

• Understanding of automotive customers, systems, and portals

• Advanced level of application software packages (CRM, Office 365

• Knowledgeable in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Multi-tasking and organizational skills.

• Ability to interface globally and with other functional groups ( sales, finance, marketing, operations, engineering)

• Excellent communication / presentation skills specifically in an international product development/engineering environment.

• Willing to travel 10% or as business requires.
