Henry Ford Health System Physician - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (PRN) in Southfield, Michigan

  • Schedule: PRN (12 hour shifts, 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. hours)

  • Practice Detail: Partner with Henry Ford Providence Hospital to provide care for our most vulnerable Pediatric patients

  • Faculty: Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus and Novi Campus

  • Location: Southfield, Michigan and Novi, Michigan

    Position Highlights:

  • Six Neonatologists in the practice

  • 6-bed SCN at Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Novi Campus

  • Level III, 15-bed NICU at Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus

    Responsibilities:

  • Daily average census of eight and two inpatients between Southfield Campus and Novi Campus, respectively

  • Position is 100% clinical; daily rounds, attendance at deliveries, surgeries (insertion of umbilical arterial catheter/umbilical vein catheter and occasional chest tube insertion) and oversight for care of babies in the unit

    Qualifications :

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

• NRP credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• BC in Pediatrics.

• BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine or BC in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine preferred.
