Eaton Corporation Commercial Finance Leader, eMobility in Southfield, Michigan

Eaton’s Industrial Sector is hiring a Commercial Finance Leader for our eMobility Division in Beachwood, OH, Galesburg, MI, and/or Southfield, MI. Travel is 25% and relocation is offered to candidates who are open to relocation to our Vehicle Headquarters in Southfield, MI. This role will lead a team of 2 and reports to the Director of Finance, eMobility.

Eaton’s finance organization continues to increase our capabilities and provide a best-in-class operation by implementing advanced processes, technologies, and talent development initiatives. At Eaton, the Commercial Finance Professionals partner with the Commercial (Sales & Marketing) & Engineering R&D organizations to drive profitable growth, they are responsible for Revenue Planning and Product Optimization focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support decisions and strategic goals related to a specific area of the business. In this role, you will assess financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize profitability and growth and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations. To accomplish your goals, you will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams and develop and execute revenue planning strategies.

Essential Functions

• Lead profitability management initiatives, analyzing various revenue streams and identifying opportunities for optimization.

• Leverage data to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus.

• Oversee contract structuring processes, ensuring terms are financially advantageous and align with company objectives.

• Drive product optimization efforts through financial analysis and market research, identifying areas for growth and improvement.

• Conduct thorough sales and incentives analysis to evaluate performance and effectiveness of incentive programs.

• Advise on pricing strategies based on market trends, cost structures, and competitive landscape.

• Lead data review and analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information.

• Manage the collection and dissemination of key financial data to relevant stakeholders.

• Review deals and contracts to assess financial implications and provide recommendations for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics and/or finance.

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in finance and/or accounting

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA

• CPA and/or CMA

• 10 years’ experience working in finance leadership roles for a multinational, dynamic industry leader in a comparable size/scope role.

• 5 years of commercial finance experience partnering with senior leaders to drive successful outcomes.

• Manager of people experience.

• SAP experience.

• Proven record of accomplishment partnering with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and profitability.

• Experience with contract structuring, pricing strategies, and financial modeling.

• Experience interpreting and presenting complex data to create actionable insights.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis

• Experience leading and developing global and diverse teams in a highly matrixed organization.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
