Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the automotive industry. This role is based in Southfield, Michigan and involves working within an AI software, High Radius, for cash application. The successful candidate will also be required to familiarize themselves with SAP as a backup system.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash application operations using High Radius software to apply cash onto accounts

• Review transactions within a day before integrating them into SAP

• Ensure all transactions are accommodated within the High Radius software

• Handle checks and ACH transactions with a high degree of accuracy

• Manage wire transactions which require more follow-up compared to ACH transactions

• Maintain responsibility for multiple lockbox locations across the country, matching check information with digitized bank statements and emails containing additional information

• Occasionally interact with customers for payment clarifications and missing information

• Collaborate with a team to transition all work back to the U.S., ending outsourcing to Poland

• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Automated Clearing House (ACH), Cash Applications, Wire Transfer, SAP, Cash Posting, Lock Box, Reconciling Bank Statements, Vendor Contacts, Analytical Skills, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in the Automotive industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Experience with Wire Transfer operations

• Knowledge of SAP is a must

• Experience in Cash Posting

• Familiarity with Lock Box operations

• Ability to Reconcile Bank Statements

• Experience in managing Vendor Contacts

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
