Representative Job Duties
• 3 years' experience managing workforce development programs, including but not limited to Workforce Investment Act, Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act, Trade Adjustment Assistance, Partnership. Accountability. Training. Hope., Business Services and Employment Services
• Implement, interpret, and analyze procedures/policies to comply with City, County, State or Federal guidelines
• Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or people and resolving escalated complaints
•Assist Manager with performance evaluations; prepare, organize, and maintain training manuals; recruit, interview, and select employees for programs
• Experience in managing audits and audit compliance; budgeting, meet with auditor regarding specific programs and respond to audit findings with corrective action
• Create innovate approaches to employer talent needs, job seeker needs and address talent shortages.
• Assess labor market trends and use the information to assist employers and job seekers.
•Assist with agency grant writing and with the negotiation for the Career Center budget
•Presents the Career Center programs and services to business and community groups
