Job Responsibilities

  • Uphold and embrace CBRE and ExxonMobil Health and Safety requirements

  • Lead a strong behavioural commitment to Health and Safety.

  • Become actively involved in client Loss Prevention System (LPS) operation and adopt requirements as an integral part of day-to-day activities.

  • Ensure all Technical Services are delivered in a safe and healthy environment in a way where nobody gets hurt.

  • Provide cover and support for site FM in their absence.

  • Manage a site-based Team of engineering staff to deliver a wide range of maintenance and associated activities.

  • Manage, Scope, and take to completion small works projects.

  • Manage M & E annual budget spend.

  • Ensure statutory compliance is maintained for all applicable service lines.

  • Accountable for workflow delivery, including planned preventive, reactive and remedial works.

  • Develop and own processes and procedures associated with technical operations.

  • Provide technical expertise to deliver effective service delivery.

  • Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain an up-to-date awareness of industry best practice and available technology.

  • Develop and grow client and customer relationships.

  • Develop and grow business development opportunities to benefit both CBRE and client.

  • Lead Team development, engagement, and carryout appraisals.

  • Be accountable for M & E department recruitment.

  • Identify and Facilitate Team training requirements.

  • Support a framework of Team behaviour where integrity drives an open and honest working environment.

  • Deliver reports and proposals as scheduled or required.

  • Owner of client OIMS elements as directed by the site Facilities Manager.

  • Accountable for the performance of third-party suppliers and partners.

  • Support any other reasonable requests to meet business needs and priorities when required.

  • Lead change management to enhance client experience.

Person Skills

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Proven experience of managing a multi disciplined engineering team in a highly governed environment.

  • Experience of working on a large industrial site.

  • Relevant Health and Safety qualification. (IOSH, NEBOSH)

  • Minimum of 5 years experience of management in technical operations positions.

  • Engineering apprenticeship or degree level qualification.

  • Experience in leading change management.

  • Strong commercial understanding of P&L budget management with commercial astuteness.

  • Management qualification desirable.
