Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Real Estate Paralegal at our retail food store located in South San Francisco, California. In this role, you will primarily focus on interpreting and managing lease agreements while ensuring all legal requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately translate complex legal lease language into more understandable terms for our non-expert internal and external partners

• Scrutinize lease language for potential issues that could negatively affect the tenant

• Ably manage both digital and physical files with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Utilize your knowledge of Common Area Maintenance (CAM), rent percentage, and breakpoints in lease agreements

• Apply your proficiency in technology and software tools, including Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Demonstrate your strong mathematical skills and proficiency in Excel in managing lease calculations

• Leverage your experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), DocuSign, and Workday in managing lease documentation

• Read and redline PDFs, leases, and documents, identifying potential issues quickly and clearly. Requirements • Proficiency in Aderant software

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat

• Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Ability to use Case Management Software efficiently

• Proficiency in CompuLaw

• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively

• Experience in briefing team members or stakeholders

• Proficiency in Calendar Management

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate sector

• Experience in Corporate Real Estate sector

• Understanding of Real Estate - Commercial matters

• Understanding of Real Estate - Leasing matters

• Experience in drafting and reviewing Lease Agreements
