Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager/HR Assistant in South San Francisco, California. This role is critical in the operational management of our office, vendor relationships, and personnel, and also serves as a key point of contact for staff inquiries. The Office Manager/HR Assistant will also have responsibilities in Human Resources, including onboarding, benefits, and compliance. This is a 6 month engagement with possible extension. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily administrative operations of the office, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Act as a primary point of contact for staff inquiries related to HR matters, providing timely and accurate responses.
Post job vacancies, screen resumes, arrange interviews, conduct reference checks, process new permanent staff paperwork, and facilitate onboarding procedures.
Maintain intellectual property status reports, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
Manage relationships with benefits brokers, coordinate employee benefits enrollment, handle changes, and communicate regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Support the performance review process, including goal setting and feedback delivery.
Maintain accurate employee personnel files, training, and safety records.
Manage facilities maintenance and oversee general office operations.
Utilize skills in Answering Inbound Calls, Expensify, Bamboo, and Google Suite to perform job functions effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as Office Manager/HR Assistant.
Demonstrated ability to handle and route inbound calls efficiently.
Proficiency in using Expensify for managing expenses.
Experience with Bamboo HR software for HR-related tasks.
Familiarity with Google Suite for office productivity tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
High level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive HR matters
