Mentor Technical Group Data Solutions Specialist (Dashboards, APIs, and Analytics) in South San Francisco, California

Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of the Operations Scorecard, ensuring accurate and timely data feeds and analysis across workstreams.
Design and implement interactive dashboards and advanced visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with teams to automate data capture and integrate manual processes into streamlined workflows.
Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs to enhance data transfer and system interoperability.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity through robust validation and monitoring practices.
Manage data sources across categories such as People, Quality, Safety, Service Delivery, and Cost, ensuring relevance and alignment with business objectives.
Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive actionable outcomes.
Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar role involving analytics and reporting.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analysis and visualization tools.
Hands-on experience with API development and data automation processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
Experience with environmental health, safety (EHS), and sustainability metrics.
Familiarity with industry-specific data sources and KPIs.
Experience in automating manual data capture processes and integrating diverse data systems.
