Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Controls Engineer to support municiapl water integration projects. You will be involved in designing control panels, specifying controls hardware, and performing field start-up and commissioning of control systems.
Responsibilities
Design control panels and develop drawing sets
Specify controls hardware including automation components and instrumentation
Perform field start-up and commissioning of control systems
Troubleshoot new and legacy control systems
HMI programming with Rockwell FactoryTalkView ME/SE software
Design electrical schematics utilizing AutoCAD (2D)
Design, simulation, programming, testing, and implementation
Essential Skills
BS degree in an engineering discipline
3 years of experience in controls
Proficient with Rockwell Studio5000 and Aveva Select Wonderware HMI
Proficient in design, simulation, programming, testing, and implementation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC programming
Rockwell FactoryTalkView ME/SE software
AutoCAD (2D)
SCADA programming
Allen Bradley (AB)
Work Environment
You will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients at any given time and learn directly from the owners and lead engineers. We offer a hybrid schedule, with Mondays and Fridays as work-from-home days. Due to the small company size and horizontal structure, there are limited management opportunities. The team currently consists of 8 engineers, and you will be working closely with a dedicated and experienced team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
