Automation Engineer (Salt Lake City, UT). Duties: Design and implement Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and peripheral systems. Responsible for configuration of PLC systems, generating I/O databases, creating wiring diagrams, and developing HMI graphics. Requirements: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or related. 2 years' engineering experience, to include some solid experience in each: Siemens Series (S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500); Automation Direct (DL05, DL06); SIMATIC WinCC; TIA Portal; C-more; PAC Display; Control Snap PAC; Opto 22; VFDs (ABB, Siemens, Eaton, and Yaskawa); electrical component design and systems specifications; equipment problem-solving in industrial setting. Limited domestic travel to client sites.
