Fedcap Families of Maine, member of The Fedcap Group, is looking for a dynamic, experienced leader to become the site's Placement Performance Manager! Also referred to as a Jobs Development Manager, the position will need someone with a background in human services or workforce development to Supervise and drive performance of Placement Specialists to achieve contractual and agency performance targets related to job placement and voluntary experiences.

Position Summary:
The Placement Performance Manager drives a high performing team of Placement Specialists and has overall accountability for their performance, quality of service, and related contractual commitments. Position manages their workload and provides supervision and performance coaching.
Essential Functions:
Lead, develop and performance manage team to continuously improve and increase their capability and deliver against quality, performance targets.
Coach and motivate staff members, hold team meetings, and supporting overall sense of teamwork.
Conduct regular supervision and observations of direct reports utilizing agency forms and standards.
Uphold agency health and safety standards and promotes the well-being of staff, participants and their families
Write and deliver performance evaluations in accordance with agency requirements with recommendations for performance goals and professional development.
Manage employee tenure processes of direct reports
Run reports in FedcapCARES to analyze a team’s performance and make decisions to ensure that goals and objectives are being met. Identify trends and lags in performance and create plans to address.
Ensure direct reports complete their agency onboarding and on-going professional development requirements and encourage their professional growth though active participation in optional learning internal and external opportunities.
Ensure agency values and customer service standards are understood and observed by all delivery team members so that all participants are provided with the same high standard of service that maximizes their chances of securing sustainable employment.
Ensure the team maintains paperwork and participant records to ensure the participant journey is documented in FedcapCARES in accordance with contract compliance and quality standards.
Promote Fedcap Inc. positively at every opportunity with participants, coworkers, and external stakeholders, understanding and articulating the full services and benefits we offer to customers.
Create industry-focused employer engagement and solutions across key priority sectors.
Develop a compelling, attractive, tailored offer to an employer that meets their recruitment needs, increases opportunities for our participants and promotes our brand as a provider of choice.
Actively model our Fedcap values throughout all aspects of their work and interactions with others.
Demonstrate drive to deliver performance in line with key performance indicators and performance targets.
Establishes productive relationships at both a local and regional level with employers, non-profit partners and industry experts to integrate Fedcap Families Forward as a key charitable and ethical delivery organization.
Drive growth of our organization through the successful development of employer partnerships, pro-active relationship building and opportunities to provide services to employers and non-profit partners.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher education and/or equivalent experience.
2 years of supervisory experience directing in case management, workforce development or adult education;
Or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
A valid driver’s license is required as is unrestricted access to a vehicle, as this position will have up to 25% travel days per week. (1-2 days/week on average with a 30-50 mile radius)
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment and within the communities our programs are located.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel:
This is a full-time position.
Hours of work and days are typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel demands are dependent on business need and may be subject to change.
