TheDentalReceptionistwill manage patient schedules, provide outstanding service to patients, and support the medical office in meeting productivity goals. This role involves working in a dynamic, team-focused environment with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy, drama-free office culture. The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of9 months of experience in the dental or medical field, with a solid understanding ofHIPAA, OSHA, and Section Control.The ability to handle stress, multitask, and think quickly on your feet is crucial. You must be articulate, educated, and possess strong analytical skills.\ \ Details:

  • Pay:\$20.00 per hour

  • Schedule:Monday to Wednesday: 7:10 AM 4:30 PM, Thursday: 7:10 AM 3:30 PM, Closed on Fridays, 1-hour lunch break

  • Start Date:ASAP

\ Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management:

    • Maintain a productive daily schedule for each provider by following established scheduling guidelines.

    • Assist patients with scheduling appointments, ensuring each leaves with two future appointments.

    • Proficiently use dental software to manage schedules and enhance patient retention.

    • Collaborate with providers to instill a sense of urgency around treatment plans and scheduling.

  • Treatment Planning & Financial Process:

    • Assist in presenting accurate treatment plans, ensuring understanding of insurance coverage and limitations.

    • Utilize a 10-step financial process to confidently present treatment options to patients.

    • Collect patient portions at the time of service and set up payment agreements as necessary.

  • Insurance Claims & Collections:

    • Accurately and timely file insurance claims, resolving discrepancies as they arise.

    • Use third-party financing options efficiently, when applicable.

    • Follow the AR playbook to ensure proper financial collection and patient billing.

  • Customer Service Excellence:

    • Provide world-class service to patients, team members, and suppliers.

    • Maintain professional phone etiquette and positive communication with patients.

    • Ensure all patients feel valued and follow up for referrals as needed.

  • Adherence to Systems & Protocols:

    • Follow office systems, including scheduling guidelines, HIPAA, and OSHA protocols.

    • Be well-prepared for daily huddles with necessary information and updates.

    • Maintain a clean, organized office environment in accordance with office standards.

  • Team Collaboration & Growth:

    • Work closely with the office team to deliver exceptional patient care.

    • Collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed office goals.

    • Cross-train in various office functions to support team needs during peak periods.

  • Experience: A minimum of 9 months of dental or medical office experience is required.

  • Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage patient schedules and follow office procedures, proficiency in dental or medical software.

  • Character:Fit, reliable, hardworking, loyal, and drama-free; a team player with no egos.
